Subsidy for Nursing care Services and Childcare Services

Faculty and staff living with a child (up to the third grade of elementary school) or a family member who needs long-term care may apply for financial aid to cover part of the cost of services received such as babysitting, child day care providers, housekeepers or in-home nursing care. The total amount you may receive is up to 60,000 yen per year for one applicant.

To Sophia Students

“Student Information Service” has been established so that students who do not know which department to consult or are not sure whether they should consult with the university can feel free to ask questions or make inquiries.
Depending on the details of the consultation, students will be connected to various departments of the Health and Wellbeing Center, other departments of the university and to external organizations if it’s needed.
